Job Description

We require one or two-person subcontractor teams to deliver MDU & SDU Overhead Fibre Installations to Customer Premises, mainly across London - travel anywhere within the M25.

Installations are required between 8:00am – 6:00pm, Monday to Sunday.

  • Careful Workmanship – Working carefully without causing damage to customer premises. Taking appropriate measures to protect structures, equipment, and finishes is essential.
  • Adherence to Schedules – Timely attendance and completion of each project is critical.
  • Safety Practices – Compliance with all defined Health & Safety requirements is an absolute must.

Immediate starts available.

One-person team:
Usually routed between 3–5 installs per day, depending on ability.

Two-person team:
Usually routed between 6–8 installs per day, depending on ability.

Subcontractor Requirements

What do you need to have?

Essential:

  • 1 person qualified with SA001, SLG (NRSWA), SA008 and Flat Roof Working (proof of certificates required)
  • Previous FTTH installation experience
  • Previous MDU (Multi-Dwelling Unit) installation experience – Essential
  • Experience working within apartment blocks, communal areas, risers, containment systems, and fire-stopping requirements
  • Valid UK driving licence (maximum 6 points)
  • Limited Company status with UTR and £5m Public Liability Insurance

Must Have:

  • Own fibre installation kit including splicer and cleaver
  • DBS Certificate (new or issued within the last 3 months)
  • Own van

Terms & Conditions:

  • Payment upon completion of a quality installation/service call and compliance with agreed SLAs – contact us for rates and terms
  • Service charges applicable for QHSE non-compliance

Experience Required:
Ideally looking for individuals or teams with a minimum of 2 years FTTH experience.

Overhead (OH) experience is essential.
Underground (UG) experience is desirable.
MDU experience is essential.

The ability to positively engage with customers, communicate professionally, and deliver an excellent customer experience is critical.
