We’re recruiting!

Join our friendly team as Café Manager.

Threlkeld Coffee Shop is a thriving community café serving locals, walkers, cyclists and visitors from across the UK and beyond. We're known for our warm hospitality, quality food and home baking.

We're looking for an enthusiastic Café Manager who wants the freedom to be creative, provide strategic leadership and help shape the future of one of the northern Lake District's most loved community cafés.

About the Role

You will:

  • Lead and inspire a small, friendly team.
  • Develop our food offer, menus and customer experience.
  • Oversee the day-to-day running and performance of the café.
  • Grow the business through marketing, events and new ideas.
  • Help shape the future of our community café alongside our volunteer Board.

About You

You will have:

  • Experience supervising or leading a café, bakery or hospitality team.
  • A passion for great food, coffee and customer service.
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Commercial awareness and a proactive, hands-on approach.
  • Creativity, enthusiasm and the confidence to make things happen.
