£12.75 per hour + 12.5% service charge (approx. £2.0–£3.00 per hour)

We’re looking for someone who genuinely loves the craft of making coffee — not just pressing buttons, but dialling in, pouring with care, and obsessing over consistency. You’ll thrive in a busy café, enjoy being part of a team, and have no issue rolling up your sleeves (yes, that includes dishes).

Attendant Coffee Roasters began in 2013 in a disused Victorian toilet in Fitzrovia. Since then, we’ve grown into a roastery and café group with one mission: create inclusive spaces where customers can pause from city life, built on sustainable, ethically sourced coffee and fresh, local produce. We roast with respect for farmers and growers, and we serve with attention to detail. That’s where you come in.

What you’ll be doing

• Making consistently excellent coffee — espresso, filter, and batch brew
• Serving customers with warmth and professionalism
• Maintaining and cleaning coffee equipment so everything runs smoothly
• Supporting the Café Manager and Head Baristas in recipe development and quality control
• Keeping the café clean, safe, and service-ready — Health & Safety and Food Safety included
• Helping manage stock levels so the team never runs dry

About you

• At least 1 year’s barista experience in speciality coffee
• Able to dial in espresso and filter for optimal flavour
• Strong milk texturing and latte art skills
• Knowledge of manual brewing methods
• Organised, reliable, and comfortable in a fast-paced environment
• A genuine team player who cares about doing things properly

The boring (but important) stuff

• Reports to: Café Manager & Head Baristas
• Responsible for: Everything to do with making great coffee and tea in the café
• Hours: 30–35 hours per week
• Holiday: 28 days
• Café opening hours: Monday–Friday 8am–6pm, Saturday 9am–6pm, Sunday 9am–6pm
• Probation: 3 months
