Assistant Soft Play Centre Manager

We now have a fun exciting opportunity for a bright and effective individual to join the team at our successful soft Play Centre, Crazy Club, located on the idyllic surroundings of Beck Evans Farm Sidcup Kent.

Our goal is to provide a safe space to allow children to play whilst encouraging the beginnings of a healthy, active lifestyle and developing their fine and gross motor skills. We also provide quality food and drink and a comfortable place for parents and carers to meet up and socialise.

The ideal candidate will be a natural leader with relevant experience, a positive ‘can-do’ attitude, great people management/ customer skills who is able to work well under pressure and deputise for the Manager in the day-to-day running of this busy Centre which is packed full of fun for children aged 0-10 years.

Crazy Club is open 7 days a week for play sessions and children's birthday parties with a busy cafe serving a variety of food and drinks. We also run regular/seasonal events throughout the year offering unrivalled entertainment.

This position is full time 40 hours a week minimum, including weekends, Bank Holidays, and school holidays.

To be successful in this role, you will ideally need to have experiencing of working within a similar facility, the ability to assist in developing the business as a viable and sustainable Centre within the community creating good working relationships with a wide range of stakeholders.

Roles and Responsibilities including:

· Assisting in the day to day running of the soft play centre and café.

· Working in the kitchen to prepare and serve quality food and drinks, always working within food safety and hygiene standards.

· Greeting customers, providing an enjoyable, exciting and safe experience.

· Always Ensuring a clean and tidy environment (cleaning the relevant areas. before and after each play session and whenever else required).

· Organising and running soft play/ party sessions.

· Responsibility for opening and closing the soft play centre.

· Commitment to promoting the welfare of children and vulnerable individuals.

· Ensure a safe environment is always maintained in line with all relevant H&S guidelines.

· Positively engage with customers and the local community.

Skills & Requirements:

· Working with children, (Essential).

· Experience with food handling and hygiene, (desirable).

· Energetic and enthusiastic about working with children, (essential).

· Previous supervision of staff, (essential).

· Approachable with excellent customer handling skills, (essential)

· First Aid certification and a valid DBS check, (or willingness to obtain) are required.
