Tigers Indoor Play is a very large childrens soft play centre based in DAVENTRY. We provide our customers with a huge 6 meter high kids play frame, 4 lane astro slide, go-karts, birthday party rooms and much more. We offer a full menu and beverages served from our 5 star food hygene rated cafe.

PLEASE NOTE -

  • This Job is NOT child care, and as such, childcare qualifications are not required or relevant to this advertised position
  • This Job role is in HOSPITALITY, therefore some retail/hospitality experience is required

  • This job role involves a considerable amount of physical activity. This includes being physically able to climb through our frame for safety inspections on a daily basis

PAY RATE;

17 year old staff members are paid £8.00 per hour

18 - 20 year old staff members are paid £10.85 per hour

21 + year old staff members are paid £12.71 per hour

Job Dimensions:

Key Job Roles:

· Serving customers throughout the business

. Having basic IT skills

· Meeting and greeting customers whilst working in the front reception

· Taking food orders and serving food and drink at the cafe counter

· Working with tills, which include handling and COUNTING cash and taking card payments

· Serving food and drink to the Customers table

Cleaning of our venue, including hoovering, table clearing and pot washing

· When you have completed the appropriate training, operating and supervise the Go-Karts on the Go-Kart track and Laser Tag in the laser zone

· After the appropriate training, to host all aspects of children’s parties which can include setting up the party room(s), serving food and drink at the party table, ensuring birthday cake is delivered in a timely manner. Cleaning down the party room once complete

· After the appropriate training, Assist where necessary in the kitchen area for the preparation of food

· Daily cleaning tasks throughout the entire site during your shift, clearing/cleaning down tables, chairs, hoovering floors and tidying all areas between each session and particularly at close of play for a full shut down

· Checking toilets regularly, clean as necessary, replenish consumables items as required

· Working occasional evening shifts to assist with the supervision of private hire parties and ticket only events

Please Note:

· This role would NOT suit persons with allergies triggered by working environments with dust content

· This role would NOT suit persons of a quiet disposition who dislikes loud noises

· This role would NOT suit persons that are not able to speak loudly and be clearly heard in a busy noisy environment, delivering Health & Safety briefings

· This role would NOT suit persons unable to climb through our entire frame, to conduct and certify daily Health and Safety Frame checks in accordance with H & S and EHO guidelines

· This role involves physical work and many periods of standing and walking
