  • Supervise, train, and motivate café staff and Game Gurus to maintain quality and efficiency.
  • Ensure compliance with food hygiene, health and safety, and licensing regulations.
  • Manage stock control, ordering, deliveries, and accurate cash handling.

  • Maintain a clean, well-organised café and bar area, including regular deep cleaning.
  • Promote a positive team environment with strong communication and cooperation.
  • Assist with recruitment, rotas, and staff development.
  • Uphold Thirsty Meeples’ values and contribute to creating a welcoming, inclusive atmosphere.

KEY REQUIREMENTS:

  • Minimum 2 years’ café or hospitality experience, ideally at least 1 year in a supervisory role.
  • Strong knowledge of food and drink service standards and customer care.

  • Excellent communication and leadership skills with the ability to motivate a team.
  • Strong organisation, time management, and attention to detail.
  • Comfortable working in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.
