Role Overview

We are now looking for a passionate Viennoiserie Assistant for our production site in Hayes (UB3).

As a Viennoiserie Assistant, you will support the production of our delicious viennoiserie items, including croissants, pains au chocolat and danishes.

You will be working 5 days per week between 07:00am and 16:00pm.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in the preparation and production of viennoiserie items following established recipes.
  • Maintain a clean and organized work environment, adhering to health and safety standards.
  • Help with dough preparation, rolling, shaping, and proofing processes.
  • Collaborate with the team to develop new recipes and improve existing ones.

Essential Skills & Qualifications

  • Proven experience as a Pastry Chef or Baker in a high-volume or manufacturing environment.
  • Demonstrable knowledge of of baking techniques, dough handling, and large-batch production.
  • Ability to follow standardised recipes and production specifications precisely.
  • Familiarity with commercial bakery equipment.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Team player with good communication skills.
  • Flexibility to work any day of the week.

Nice-to-Have

  • Culinary school diploma or equivalent baking certification.
