Full job description

We are seeking an experienced baker to join our team as we expand the business in an exciting new era. The ideal candidate will have a passion for baking, a keen eye for detail, and a commitment to quality. The job position will be based in York & surrounding areas, the candidate must be able to drive as part of the new expansion.

Responsibilities:

  • Preparing and baking a variety of baked goods including pastries, breads, tarts, cakes.
  • Managing inventory and ordering supplies as needed
  • Ensuring all products are of the highest quality and meet our standards
  • Maintaining a clean and organized work environment
  • Following all health and safety regulations and procedures

Requirements:

  • Minimum of 1-2 years of experience as a baker in a commercial bakery
  • Knowledge of various baking techniques, recipes, and ingredients
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality
  • Good communication skills
  • Flexibility to work early mornings and weekends, although we are very flexible at giving time off where needed.
