Full job description

We are currently recruiting for Restaurant and Bar staff for our 2026 season (May to October) to join our highly successful team in at St Mary’s Hall Hotel in the beautiful Isles of Scilly, which is situated 28 miles off the coast of Cornwall.

You should have a warm, personable nature, can do attitude and eye for detail.

You will know and understand what it means to deliver amazing hospitality and will thrive on the challenge of always exceeding guest’s expectations. You will be expected to achieve a level of service through the constant monitoring of our established standards. As a result, you should be highly attentive to detail and be capable of delivering consistent standards. In this type of industry teamwork is key; you should be a strong team player willing to lend a hand wherever needed. In return we will offer you second to none career opportunities.

We need people who are full of personality and have:

· Great team working skills.

· Well presented

· A good understanding of English

· A keen eye for detail.

· The ability to work under pressure.

· A real passion for delivering personal, fantastic, and memorable service to all our guests.

· The ability to deal with our guests in a calm and professional manner.

Ideally, you’ll have a customer service background and preferably experience in a similar role although we are happy to provide training and development for the right person.

Accommodation at £100 per week is provided for this seasonal position which runs from now until mid October.

Bonus of 3% per hour (40p per hour) paid at the end of the season for those staff working the whole season. Tips via a TRONC scheme paid monthly.
