Overview

2/3 days a week 9.30am - 3.30pm including alternate Saturdays

Join our team as a Barista and Front of House! Where your energy and enthusiasm will create memorable experiences for every guest, you'll be the friendly face that welcomes visitors, crafts delicious beverages, and ensures smooth service throughout the day. Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to create a welcoming atmosphere
  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffee beverages, teas, and other specialty drinks following established recipes
  • Handle food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals with attention to food safety standards
  • Maintain cleanliness and organization of the front counter, seating area, and workstations
  • Manage cash register operations accurately, including processing transactions and giving correct change
  • Ensure adherence to health and safety regulations related to food safety and hygiene practices
  • Assist with inventory management by restocking supplies and notifying supervisors of low stock levels

Skills

  • Proven experience as a Barista or in a similar customer service role in food establishments
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and best practices in hygiene
  • Strong serving skills with the ability to engage positively with diverse customers
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions accurately
  • Effective time management to prioritize tasks during busy periods
  • Ability to perform food preparation tasks efficiently while maintaining quality standards
  • Excellent communication skills to interact clearly with team members and guests
