We're looking for an experienced Chef/Cook to join the kitchen team at Margo & Plum Coffee House & Deli in Bottesford.

You'll work four days a week, during the daytime only.

No evening service. No late-night closes. No split shifts.

We're a busy destination café serving breakfasts, brunches and lunches, so you'll still get the buzz of a proper service — just without sacrificing every evening to hospitality.

The role

We're looking for someone who can confidently work a busy kitchen section and consistently send out great food.

You'll be preparing and cooking our breakfast and lunch menu, keeping your section organised and helping us maintain the standards our customers expect.

A typical day will involve:

• Preparing and cooking breakfasts, brunches and lunches
• Confidently running your section during busy services
• Producing consistently good, well-presented food
• Preparing fresh ingredients for service
• Maintaining excellent food hygiene and kitchen standards
• Keeping your section organised, stocked and ready
• Working closely with our kitchen and front-of-house teams

Who we're looking for

You might currently be a Chef, Cook, Commis Chef or Chef de Partie.

We're less interested in impressive job titles than finding someone who can genuinely cook, stays organised when the tickets start coming in and cares about what leaves the kitchen.

You'll ideally have at least a year's experience in a professional kitchen.

More importantly, you'll be:

We're not a large hospitality chain. We're an independent business with a close-knit team, a busy and growing café and customers who genuinely care about what we do.

Our kitchen can get busy — particularly over breakfast and lunch — so we're looking for someone who enjoys the energy of a good service while maintaining high standards.
