Not Your Typical Marketing Job

We're looking for an ambitious, proactive person who wants more than just posting on social media.

This is an opportunity to play a key role in the growth of several exciting businesses operating from one unique site in Lancashire.

You'll work across Stone UK, South Planks Farm, Planks Kitchen and our events and showroom businesses, helping to generate enquiries, create engaging content, support customers and ultimately help drive sales.

One day you might be creating content for a major landscaping project. The next you could be helping organise an event, updating a website, speaking with customers, following up enquiries or developing a social media campaign.

This role would suit somebody who enjoys a mixture of marketing, content creation, customer interaction and sales support.

Most importantly, we're looking for somebody with energy, initiative and a genuine desire to help grow a business.

About Us

Stone UK is a leading supplier and manufacturer of British natural stone products, serving homeowners, landscapers, architects and commercial projects throughout the UK.

South Planks Farm is a growing destination business featuring a wellness café, artisan markets, events, showroom partners and a range of exciting future developments.

This is a hands-on role within a growing business where your work will have a direct impact.

The Role

Working closely with the business owners and management team, you will help drive both marketing activity and customer engagement across multiple brands.

Responsibilities will include:

  • Creating content for social media, including photography, video and reels
  • Managing social media accounts and content calendars
  • Assisting with website updates and online content
  • Creating email marketing campaigns
  • Supporting marketing promotions and seasonal campaigns
  • Responding to customer enquiries
  • Following up sales leads and opportunities
  • Supporting customers within our showroom and sales areas
  • Maintaining CRM and customer records
  • Assisting with events, workshops and business activities
  • Helping identify opportunities to increase enquiries and sales
