Company Overview

Bagel Bistro is located on Camden Road, Tunbridge Wells, selling traditional Brick Lane bagels with delicious fillings, alongside great tasting coffee and milkshakes.

Summary

We are seeking a friendly, self motivated person to join our team at The Bagel Bistro in Tunbridge Wells. In this role, you will be responsible for preparing delicious bagels and ensuring high standards of food safety and quality with great customer service.

You may also be required to work at our lovely Two Penny Blue café, that is in Silverdale Road, Tunbridge Wells.

Hours of Work

20-30 hours a week. Additional hours may be available.

This is NOT just a weekend job.

The person we are looking for MUST be able to work during the week.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare delicious bagels, coffee and milkshakes.
  • Maintain cleanliness and tidiness in the kitchen area.
  • Ensure compliance with food safety regulations and standards.
  • Assist with inventory management and stock rotation.
  • Provide excellent customer service when taking orders.
  • Cooperate with team members to ensure efficient kitchen operations.

Opening Hours

8.00am - 4.00pm, Monday to Saturday

9.30am - 3.30pm, Sunday

Requirements

  • Experience in food preparation is essential.
  • Good understanding of food safety practices.
  • Basic maths skills for handling transactions and inventory.
  • Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
  • Excellent time management skills to prioritise tasks effectively.
