JOB OPPORTUNITY: DELIVERY DRIVER & ALL-ROUNDER

Flexible Evening Shifts Store Support & Customer Service (6 days a week)

About the Role

As a Delivery Driver & All-Rounder, your primary focus is getting our food to customers safely, accurately, and on time. However, you won't just be sitting in your car between orders when things are quiet on the road — you'll step in to support our Front of House team and keep store operations running smoothly. You are a key face of Kaani Kaana both on the road and in-store.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

► Primary Role: Delivery Driving

  • Deliver customer orders safely, efficiently, and in a timely manner.
  • Ensure all food arrives in excellent condition and is presented professionally.
  • Handle cash and card payments accurately.
  • Return delivery bags to the store immediately after completing each delivery run.
  • Represent the brand with exceptional customer service at the doorstep.

► Front of House & In-Store Support

  • Step in during quiet delivery periods or busy spikes to take/give orders and mark receipts.
  • Pack food bags accurately, organize orders, and prepare delivery bags for dispatch.
  • Place stickers on packaging lids and assist with order prep.
  • Maintain a clean, organized, and stocked shop front, counter, and delivery station.

► General Support & Teamwork

  • Provide general helping-hand support during service.
  • Follow all company hygiene, health, and food safety rules.
  • Complete general cleaning duties throughout the premises.
  • Support other Kaani Kaana branches/locations on occasion if required.

SHIFT INFORMATION & HOURS

Standard evening shifts include:

  • 4:30 PM – 10:00 PM
  • 5:00 PM – 9:00 PM
  • 5:30 PM – 9:30 PM
  • 6:00 PM – 10:00 PM
  • Shift Flexibility: Shift lengths depend on daily order volume. On quieter days, you may finish early (with a guaranteed minimum pay of 3 hours per shift).
  • Overtime: On busier days or during closing tasks, you may be asked to stay beyond your scheduled finish time (paid at standard hourly rate).

REQUIREMENTS & GUIDELINES

  • Driving & Vehicle: Valid driver's licence and appropriate vehicle delivery insurance.
  • Dress Code: Mandatory uniform — dark trousers, dark trainers, and Kaani Kaana branded top. (Tracksuits/joggers strictly prohibited).
  • Vehicle Policy: No passengers permitted in your delivery vehicle during your shift.
  • Store Presence: Must return inside the shop immediately between delivery runs.

Note: Adherence to company policies, prompt attendance inside the shop, and professional conduct are mandatory.
