Mixed cattle rearing/finishing unit circa 1000 cattle

About Stenries

We’re a family-run farm based in the heart of Dumfries & Galloway, rearing cattle and growing feed for 1000 cattle which we house over two farms. Recently modernised cattle handling facilities and most tractor work is done in house. We focus on welfare and performance and we’re looking for the right person to grow with us.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Main Roles to include tmr feeding, mucking sheds, along with the day to day management/welfare of cattle ranging from 3months old right through to finish.
  • Various tractor jobs to include mowing, slurry, harvest and cultivation work.

What We’re Looking For

  • Experience with livestock
  • Full driving licence
  • A positive, proactive, and reliable attitude
  • A willingness to learn, take initiative, and work as part of a team
  • Flexibility to work alternative weekends and varied hours when needed

Pay: £15,000.00-£30,000.00 per year
