Experienced Barista Wanted
Location: Earlsdon, Coventry
Full-Time

Gym Junky is a brand new fitness cafe opening soon, and we're looking for an experienced, passionate Barista to join our founding team.

Built around healthy food, speciality coffee, protein shakes and a strong sense of community, Gym Junky is more than just a cafe it's a lifestyle brand dedicated to helping people fuel their bodies and build better habits.

As we prepare to open our doors, we're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic Barista who takes pride in every cup, delivers exceptional customer service and thrives in a fast-paced cafe environment.

What We're Looking For

  • Previous barista experience is essential
  • Confidence preparing espresso-based coffees to a high standard
  • Experience steaming and texturing milk consistently
  • Excellent customer service and communication skills
  • A positive, friendly and professional attitude
  • Ability to work efficiently in a busy environment
  • Reliable, punctual and hardworking
  • Excellent attention to cleanliness, organisation and presentation
  • Knowledge of food hygiene and allergen awareness
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team
  • An interest in fitness, health and wellbeing is a bonus

Desirable Experience

  • Latte art
  • Speciality coffee experience
  • Till/POS systems and cash handling
  • Food preparation and cafe experience
  • Opening and closing procedures
  • Experience working in a fast-paced cafe, restaurant or hospitality environment
