Overview

Fairfull Bakes,fulltime annd part time opens a new kiosk, 7 days The Centre Livingston and 3 days at the Outlet Vilkage we are looking for full staff.
We are seeking enthusiastic and dedicated Kiosk Staff to join our team. This role involves providing excellent customer service while preparing and serving food items in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate will have a passion for food, strong organisational skills, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure. This position offers an excellent opportunity to gain experience in the food service industry and develop valuable skills such as upselling, time management, and food safety compliance.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare a variety of food items in accordance with company standards and health regulations
  • Serve customers promptly and courteously at the kiosk
  • Handle cash transactions accurately using the point-of-sale system
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the kiosk area, including cleaning surfaces and equipment regularly
  • Ensure all food safety standards are adhered to at all times
  • Upsell additional products or promotions to maximise sales opportunities
  • Manage stock levels and notify management of supply shortages or issues
  • Assist with basic food preparation tasks as required, including assembling orders and packaging products
  • Provide friendly assistance to customers, answering questions about menu items and specials

Experience

  • Previous experience in a restaurant or food service environment is preferred but not essential; training will be provided
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and procedures is advantageous
  • Experience in serving customers with excellent communication skills is desirable
  • Basic maths skills for handling cash transactions accurately
  • Kitchen or culinary experience can be beneficial for understanding food preparation processes
  • Strong time management skills to ensure orders are completed efficiently during busy periods
  • Ability to upsell products confidently to enhance customer experience and sales performance
