Shop Manager – Sri Lankan Café & CateringAbout Us

We are a vibrant Sri Lankan café and catering establishment dedicated to delivering authentic cuisine, excellent service, and a welcoming experience for our guests. Our menu features traditional Sri Lankan dishes prepared with fresh ingredients and authentic spices.

We are looking for an experienced and motivated Shop Manager to oversee the daily operations of our business and lead our team to continued success.

Key Responsibilities1. Daily Operations

  • Oversee the day-to-day running of the café, including opening and closing procedures.
  • Ensure cleanliness, hygiene, and food safety standards are maintained at all times.
  • Manage cash handling, till operations, and daily financial reconciliations.

2. Staff Management

  • Supervise and support kitchen and front-of-house staff.
  • Create staff rotas and manage shift scheduling.
  • Assist with recruitment, onboarding, staff training, and performance reviews.

3. Customer Service

  • Deliver excellent customer service and respond to customer feedback and complaints effectively.
  • Ensure a welcoming, friendly, and professional atmosphere for all guests.

4. Inventory & Supplies

  • Monitor stock levels and place orders for ingredients, packaging, and other supplies.
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with suppliers and manage deliveries.
