Job Summary:

We are seeking a motivated and experienced individual to join our team as a Cafe Manager in the specialty coffee industry.

As a Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing and leading the daily operations of one of our specialty coffee shops. You will ensure exceptional customer service, maintain high quality standards, and create a positive and engaging work environment.

Responsibilities:

-Oversee all aspects of daily operations, including opening and closing procedures, inventory management, and team management.

-Ensure the highest level of customer satisfaction by delivering exceptional service, maintaining product quality, and promptly resolving customer concerns or issues.

-Lead, train, and inspire a team of coffee enthusiasts, fostering a positive and collaborative work environment.

-Develop and implement operational strategies to achieve sales targets, maximize profitability, and drive business growth.

-Monitor and manage stock levels of coffee beans, supplies, and merchandise, placing orders as necessary to maintain product availability.

-Maintain strict adherence to health and safety regulations, ensuring a clean and hygienic work environment.

-Uphold the quality and consistency of coffee preparation, ensuring adherence to company standards and providing guidance to the team.

Requirements:

-Previous experience in the specialty coffee industry or a similar managerial role.

-Proficiency in espresso extraction, including grind adjustment, dosing, and tamping techniques.

-Skill in creating and pouring latte art designs, showcasing attention to detail and craftsmanship.

-Proven leadership abilities with a track record of effectively managing and developing a team.

-Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly and approachable demeanor.

-Excellent organizational and time management skills, with the ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment.

-Strong problem-solving abilities and the capacity to make sound decisions under the pressure.

-Flexible availability, including weekends and holidays.

-A positive attitude, a willingness to learn, and a strong commitment to teamwork.

-Food handling certification and knowledge of health and safety regulations is a plus.

Pay: £15.00-£16.50 per hour
