Full job description

General Manager Build a Legacy in Wimbledon Village

We have recently launched The Seven Elements, a new community-led hospitality concept in Wimbledon Village.

Built on 17 years of successful independent hospitality and a long-standing presence as a pillar of the local community, this is our most ambitious concept to date. We are now in our first weeks of trading, building momentum ahead of an official launch.

Seven Elements is a place to belong. A space built around people, not transactions. From award-winning coffees and fresh juices to vibrant food, small plates, and cocktails, the experience evolves throughout the day, leading into evenings of parties and a place to celebrate.

We collaborate with local bakeries, butchers, and independent suppliers to create something rooted in the community.

The foundations are in place. Now we are looking for an exceptional General Manager to take it to the next level.

This is not a role for someone who wants to maintain. It is for someone who wants to shape, build, and lead.

The Opportunity

This is a hands-on leadership role at a pivotal stage of the business.

You will step into a live operation with early traction and take ownership of how it evolves. From team to standards to performance, you will define what this business becomes.

You will:

  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team Implement clear systems and processes that drive consistency and efficiency
  • Raise standards across service, product, and guest experience
  • Drive revenue growth through strong commercial thinking
  • Bring energy to the venue, creating a space that works from daytime trade through to evenings of celebration and events
  • Create a culture that turns customers into a loyal community

This is a role where your impact will be visible from day one.

What This Role Requires

  • We are looking for someone who leads with experience, knowledge, presence, and all love, no drama.
  • You bring a proven track record in hospitality management at a high level, with strong experience across both food and premium cocktails. You understand how to deliver quality, pace, and atmosphere in a dynamic environment.
  • You are commercially sharp, operationally strong, and lead from the front.
  • You are as confident building a team as you are driving revenue. You know how to create energy in a space and sustain it over time.
  • You are comfortable hosting and creating the right atmosphere for evenings, events, and celebrations.
  • Your comfortable with being on camera and understand the value of social media.

Experience in high-volume, premium casual or destination venues is highly valued.

Ideally, you are local to Wimbledon Village or ready to fully embed yourself in the area.

Package

  • Salary of £45,000 plus performance-based bonus.
  • For the right person, there is potential for a shareholding opportunity aligned with performance and long-term growth.

Why Join Us

This is more than a General Manager role.

You will have real influence over how the business grows and the standards it sets. You will be part of shaping a concept designed around community, collaboration, and experience.

You will be building on a 17-year legacy while helping define what the next chapter becomes.

Next Steps

If you are ready to take ownership of something at an early stage and build it into a standout venue, we want to hear from you.

Please send your CV via WhatsApp to Kelly on 07956 590042 and we will arrange an initial video meeting, followed by an in-person discussion.

We look forward to hearing from you
