Job Overview

We are seeking an energetic and motivated FOH (Front of House) Shift Leader to oversee daily restaurant operations, ensuring exceptional guest experiences and smooth team performance. As a key leader on the floor, you will manage service flow, support team members, and uphold high standards of food safety, hospitality, and operational excellence. This role offers an exciting opportunity to lead by example, inspire your team, and create a lively, welcoming atmosphere for all guests.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise front-of-house staff during shifts, including servers, bartenders, and host/hostesses, to ensure efficient service delivery.
  • Lead food and beverage service operations, including food preparation oversight, bartending duties, and ensuring timely food production.
  • Support team members with training on service standards, food safety protocols, and hospitality best practices.
  • Manage guest interactions to resolve issues promptly and maintain a positive dining experience.
  • Oversee cleanliness and organization of the dining area, bar, and service stations to meet health and safety regulations.
  • Coordinate with kitchen staff to ensure seamless communication between front and back of house.
  • Monitor inventory levels for bar supplies, beverages, and service essentials to prevent shortages during shifts.

Requirements

  • Proven supervising or team management experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking, bartending, or culinary arts.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate and guide a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards and food production processes.
  • Experience in serving customers with professionalism and hospitality focus.
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations including kitchen experience or hotel service background is a plus.
  • Barista experience or bar management skills are desirable but not required.
