Bar & Floor Team Member – Pub & Restaurant (Biggin Hill)

Our bar team is at the heart of our pub and restaurant, playing an essential role in delivering excellent service to our guests. As a team member, you’ll be responsible for preparing and serving drinks, assisting with food service, and ensuring the bar, kitchen, and dining areas are kept clean, safe, and welcoming. You’ll also support the smooth running of the floor during busy periods, handle cash transactions, and maintain high standards of hygiene across all areas.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve customers with a wide range of drinks, including beer, wine, and cocktails.
  • Take and deliver food and drink orders promptly and accurately.
  • Provide friendly, professional, and attentive service at all times.
  • Assist in managing the floor during busy periods, ensuring spills and hazards are dealt with quickly.
  • Maintain bar, kitchen, dining areas, and washroom hygiene to the highest standards.
  • Handle cash and card payments responsibly.
  • Restock shelves, bar supplies, and inventory as required.
  • Carry out regular stock checks for beer, wine, spirits, and bar items.
  • Ensure a safe and clean working environment for both staff and guests.
  • Work closely with colleagues to create a positive and enjoyable customer experience.
