Job Summary
We are seeking a friendly and efficient Waitress / waiter / Barista to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will be passionate about delivering excellent customer service and creating high-quality beverages in a fast-paced environment. This role offers an opportunity to develop skills in food preparation and customer interaction while working in a welcoming setting. The position is paid and suitable for individuals who enjoy working with people and have a keen eye for detail.

Duties

  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialised drinks, ensuring consistency and quality.
  • Maintain high standards of food safety and hygiene throughout all food preparation and service activities.
  • Take customer orders accurately, process payments efficiently, and handle cash or card transactions with precision.
  • Provide exceptional customer service by engaging with customers politely and promptly addressing any requests or concerns.
  • Keep the work area clean, organised, and stocked with necessary supplies at all times.
  • Assist in food preparation tasks such as assembling snacks or light meals when required.
  • Manage time effectively during busy periods to ensure prompt service without compromising quality.
  • Follow health and safety regulations diligently to ensure a safe environment for both staff and customers.

Experience

  • Previous experience as a Barista or in a similar food service role is required.
  • Knowledge of food safety standards is advantageous.
  • Experience in serving customers, handling cash transactions, and basic food preparation skills are desirable.
  • Familiarity with basic maths for handling payments accurately is beneficial.
  • Strong time management skills are essential to prioritise tasks efficiently during peak hours. This position offers an engaging work environment where you can develop your skills within the hospitality industry while providing memorable experiences for our customers.
