About us

We are seeking Chef/Cook for our wonderful cafe. Rate of pay is negotiable. Please note the position is 5 days over 7 with NO EVENING WORK. Please note this a part time role

The successful candidates will be expected to lead the further growth of our already well established cafe.

Job Summary:

We are currently seeking 2 Kitchen cook/chefs, the rate of pay is negotiable upon experience. You will join our team in a bustling high end cafe kitchen. The ideal candidate will assist in food preparation and cooking, ensuring the smooth running of kitchen operations.

Duties:

- Lead the kitchen in food preparation tasks

- Assist in developing our very popular menu

- Ordering and stock control

- Maintain cleanliness and organisation in the kitchen area, including management and cleaning of used crockery, cutlery and used glassware

- Adhere to food safety standards and guidelines

- Assist in maintaining inventory levels and placing orders when needed

Requirements:

- Previous experience in a kitchen environment is advantageous

- Basic culinary knowledge and a passion for food preparation

- Understanding of food safety practices and procedures

- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced cafe kitchen

- Strong teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with all cafe staff
