HMSHost UK, part of the Avolta group is hiring at Stansted Airport for Team Members to join us at on a fixed term basis at £13.21 per hour!

What is the role?

We are looking for an experienced, adaptable and guest‑focused Team Member to join our exciting operation at London Stansted Airport. This is a multi‑concept role, supporting a range of our food & beverage outlets including premium bars, Italian kitchen concepts, cafés and more.

You’ll be cross‑trained across our units, allowing you to confidently step in wherever support is needed. This role is ideal for someone who thrives in a fast‑paced airport environment, enjoys variety, and takes pride in delivering consistently great service—no matter the concept.

Key Responsibilities

  • Welcome, engage and support guests in a friendly, professional and upbeat manner across all concepts
  • Deliver excellent customer service in high‑volume periods while maintaining attention to detail
  • Adapt quickly between different restaurants, bars and cafés, confidently supporting where required
  • Work closely with colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations and a strong team culture
  • Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food safety, and health & safety compliance

The Right Candidate Will:

  • Have previous experience in hospitality, or another fast‑paced customer‑facing role
  • Be passionate about delivering exceptional guest service
  • Be flexible, adaptable, and comfortable working across multiple concepts
  • Remain calm, organised, and efficient during busy periods
  • Enjoy working as part of a team and supporting colleagues when needed
  • Take pride in their work and follow food safety and hygiene standards
  • Bring a positive, can‑do attitude that helps create a welcoming environment for both guests and teammates

Due to airport flight schedules, our shift times vary. Our morning shifts can start as early as 3am and our late shifts can finish up to 11pm so you must ensure you are flexible to work one of these shift patterns. You will also be required to obtain a security pass to gain access airside at the restaurant, for this you will need to provide 5 year’s checkable referencing.
