BAKESHOP TEAM ALLROUNDER

The Street Bakeshop is an award-winning artisan craft bakery in the heart of Hampshire.

We bake from scratch.
We use real ingredients.
We avoid chemical rubbish.

We make sourdough bread, pastries, cakes and doughnuts for retail and wholesale customers- food that people genuinely love. Food worth coming back for.

THE ROLE

Full And Part Time positions available

As a Street Bakeshop Team Allrounder, you’re a key part of the experience our customers come back for. This is a hands-on role working across the shop - serving customers, preparing coffee, handling/serving food and helping keep the bakeshop running smoothly throughout the day.

You’ll work closely with the Front of House Manager, Supervisor and the wider team to deliver great service, protect product quality and maintain the high standards we’re known for.

No two days are exactly the same — but the goal always is:
Great food, Great coffee and genuinely Great service.

WHAT YOU’LL BE DOING

Customer Service

· Welcoming and serving customers with warmth and confidence

· Taking orders accurately and efficiently

· Helping customers choose products and explaining what we make

· Creating a friendly, community-focused atmosphere in the shop

Coffee & Drinks

· Preparing and serving high-quality coffee and hot drinks

· Maintaining coffee quality and consistency throughout the day

· Keeping coffee stations clean, organised and ready for service

Food & Product Service

· Serving breads, pastries, cakes and other products to presentation standards

· Preparing and plating food items when required

· Keeping displays well stocked, clean and visually appealing

· Understanding and communicating allergen information clearly

Team & Operations

· Supporting teammates during busy service periods

· Assisting with opening and closing duties when required

· Helping maintain stock rotation and minimise waste

· Supporting promotions, events and busy trading periods

Cleanliness & Standards

· Maintaining excellent hygiene and food safety standards

· Following HACCP procedures and daily cleaning routines

· Keeping the shop floor and service areas clean, organised and welcoming

Experience in hospitality or coffee is helpful - but the right attitude matters more.
