Full job description

Join us as a Bread Baker at Chatsworth Farm Shop and Café, where your expertise will create artisan breads that delight customers daily.

About the role

You'll work alongside our bakery team to produce exceptional breads to consistently high standards. Your days will involve hands-on baking and key production responsibilities:

  • Prepare, mix, shape and bake a range of artisan breads
  • Plan production schedules and manage stock control
  • Maintain quality and consistency across all products
  • Ensure full compliance with food safety, hygiene and allergen procedures

About you

We need someone with proven commercial baking experience who can deliver excellence consistently. You will also have:

  • Demonstrable experience of sourdough production in a commercial setting
  • Proven ability to develop recipes and manage key processes
  • Excellent standards of food safety awareness
  • Great teamwork and communication skills

In return

The role is permanent and you will work 40 hours per week. Working pattern is flexible and will be agreed with the successful candidate.

The role will likely involve early starts and/or night work to meet production requirements.
