Full job description

We're looking for a passionate Head Barista to continue our excellent reputation for serving the best coffee this side of the moon! The position is for 30-35 hours per week, including weekends.

We believe happy staff = happy customers = profit.

We're a close-knit team and support each other wherever we can.

Job Description:

  • Serving incredible drinks, planning seasonal specials and working with our coffee roaster to ensure we are always serving the best possible products
  • Updating and maintaining our coffee training programme
  • Engaging customers face to face, on the phone, through social media and by email both professionally and positively
  • Keeping the emporium clean and tidy at all times (both back and front of house)
  • Driving sales of the business
  • Ensuring Health & Safety policies are being adhered to
  • Creating a positive and professional environment for staff and customers
  • Using initiative and seeking out answers
  • Taking responsibility for own personal development
  • Being consistent and accurate with operational procedures
  • Training and communicating clearly, regularly and effectively with your colleagues
  • Opening and closing the emporium
  • Completing stock checks efficiently & accurately

Training Provided
Internal: Coffee Training Levels 1&2, FOH Training, Customer Service Training, H&S

External: Food Hygiene Level 2
