Full job description

We have an exciting opportunity for a full time café and cycle centre assistant, to join our friendly team. this is a permanent full time post.

Applicants need to be hard working with a can do attitude and good customer service skills. This is an interesting and very varied role and will include working in all aspects of our busy cycle centre, with the principal emphasis on working in the café . Previous barista experience is advantageous but not essential. The main duties will include:-

Serving, in our café, taking customer orders, preparing and serving food and beverages.

Helping to maintaining high standards of hygiene

Assisting with stock control and day to day ordering of café stock.

Assisting with all aspects of our cycle hire.

Dealing with general enquiries, in person, on the phone and via email.

Processing online shop orders and helping to keep stock control systems up to date both online and instore.

Applicants will be required to be computer literate, able to deal with customer bike hire bookings both in person and online.

Working hours are 8.30am to 5pm with weekend working and flexible shift patterns. Paid overtime is available during peak periods. Salary based on age and experience.

We are looking for someone who is self-motivated, enjoys working in a busy environment, and is keen to learn and grow with the expansion of our business.
