Job Summary

We are seeking an energetic and dedicated Cafe Manager to lead our vibrant cafe team and deliver exceptional customer experiences. As the heart of our establishment, you will oversee daily operations, ensure high standards of food quality and safety, and foster a welcoming atmosphere for guests. Your leadership will inspire your team to excel in food preparation, service, and hospitality, creating a lively environment that keeps customers coming back. This role offers an exciting opportunity to showcase your culinary expertise, manage a dynamic team, and drive the success of our cafe.

Responsibilities

  • Supervise daily cafe operations, including food preparation, serving, and customer service to ensure smooth workflow and high standards.
  • Lead and motivate a team of baristas, kitchen staff, and servers by providing clear direction, coaching, and support.
  • Oversee food safety protocols and maintain compliance with health regulations to guarantee safe food production and handling.
  • Manage inventory levels for ingredients and supplies, placing orders as needed to ensure consistent availability.
  • Train staff on food preparation techniques, culinary standards, hospitality best practices, and safety procedures.
  • Monitor customer feedback and address concerns promptly to enhance guest satisfaction.
  • Coordinate with suppliers and vendors to maintain quality standards for ingredients and equipment.

Qualifications

  • Proven supervising experience in a restaurant or hospitality setting with team management responsibilities.
  • Strong background in food preparation, cooking, and culinary techniques.
  • Experience in food safety practices and adherence to health regulations.
  • Familiarity with restaurant operations including food production, serving, and kitchen management.
  • Previous experience in hotel or cafe environments is highly desirable.
  • Excellent leadership skills with the ability to motivate a diverse team.
  • Knowledge of barista skills and beverage service is a plus.
