Full job description

We’re an award-winning & independent, family run business offering customers a Hotel, Restaurant, Butchery, Bakery, cafe & pizzeria. We are looking for a Full Time Baker to join our Bakery team. The Bakery sits in the heart of our established Butchery & Deli and has it's own seating area serving bakery goods and Neapolitan Pizzas.

This is a full-time role including some weekend work and will include early mornings as required.

Job Responsibilities

  • Assist bakery team to develop and add to our product range and create any new product recipes
  • Support the on-site restaurant chef brigade to produce sweet and savoury products that complement our high-end casual dining restaurant menu
  • Mix, prepare and bake all products to ensure consistent high quality
  • Assist bakery team with ordering, stock control and wastage
  • Adhere to health & safety, food safety regulations and maintain and update all EHO & HACCP paperwork
  • No till work required, front of house bakery team handle transactions

Skills required

  • Creative, full of ideas and good knowledge on traditional bakes
  • Knowledge of sweet treats and pastries
  • Organisational skills
  • Level 2 Food Hygiene is preferred, however training will be provided

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: Up to £13.90 per hour
