Full job description

We are looking for someone to join our Teapot Café team!

This is a permanent position, working 5 days per week. Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. 9am-5pm.

The suitable candidates will need to have/be:

  • Previous hospitality/catering experience
  • Hard working, reliable and passionate about providing quality service
  • Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with a positive attitude
  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to interact with customers and team members
  • Previous barista experience is preferred for this position.

Duties to include:

  • Greet customers and provide excellent customer service
  • Take customer orders and process payments accurately on a POS system
  • Prepare and serve food and drinks
  • Ensure cleanliness of the café, including seating area & kitchen
  • Follow food safety guidelines and maintain a clean and safe work environment
  • Assist with opening and closing procedures as required
