BAKERY ON THE WATER - GL54 2BY - COOK/CHEF

Job description

The locally famous, top-rated Bakery on the Water in picturesque Bourton on the Water is a popular casual dining destination and a branch of the Little Bakery Company's Artisan Bakeries & Cafés.

With a quality-driven approach to preparing and serving our products, we have a passion for products, sincere care for our staff and work hard to provide every customer with a friendly and positive experience.

The role will involve basic prepping, toasting and plating products according to our specs and preparing simple, fresh meals to include cooked breakfasts, sandwiches, salads, toasties, and soups.

The successful applicant must be a positive person who is reliable, responsible, tidy, and can work well with a small, friendly, highly customer-focused team.

Previous experience of working in a kitchen is required as a foundation for us to assist with training.

As a daytime business, this would be an ideal position for someone looking to keep their evenings free or avoid an environment of split shifts.

The position is full time with shift hours from 6:30/7:30am to 5pm/6pm.

The average hours per week will be 20hrs/week with two 15 min breaks throughout the day and with a complimentary staff meal.
