About Us:
Fika Bakery is a fast-growing wholesale and retail bakery, inspired by Swedish and Scandinavian pastries and breads.

We sell cinnamon buns, croissants, breads, sweet and savoury pastries to:
– Cafes in Brighton & Hove
– Our own Fika Bakery Cafe in the North Laine
– National wholesale customers

We are now:
– Expanding our breads range
– Scaling our buns nationally
– Increasing our savoury range and pastry section

We are a small, skilled team of passionate foodies, producing a line of hand-made, high quality, unique products in Sussex.

We'd like to meet with you if you:

– Have minimum 2 years experience baking
– Have baked at least 2 of our 3 of: Pastries; croissants; breads
– Would like to work in a small business with rapid growth
– Want to bring your skills and creativity to a business with unique products that people love
– Want to feel valued and build the future of the business

About you:

  • A positive approach to teamwork
  • High quality control
  • Take responsibility to solve problems and find solutions
  • Experience in baking wonderful breads, enriched doughs and Viennoiserie
  • Knowledge of making doughs, proving times, and baking different types of products
  • An excellent awareness of Health & Safety procedures, allergens and hygiene
  • Attention to detail and pride in production
  • A good level of spoken English

Pay: £28,000.00-£35,000.00 per year
