Full job description

Job Summary

We are looking for a part-time Barista to join our café on College Green. Someone who is both a great barista and cares about fostering an environment where customers and colleagues feel welcomed and at ease. We are incredibly proud of the community we have built over the past two years - centred around great pastries, coffee and people - and want to continue building on that foundation.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of coffees, matchas and other hot beverages
  • Serve a variety of pastries, following food hygiene guidelines
  • Serve customers efficiently and courteously, taking orders accurately
  • Cleaning the service area and shop floor, making sure the cafe looks presentable at all times

Skills

  • Excellent communication and interpersonal skills with a friendly demeanour
  • Ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team
  • Organised with good time management skills to handle busy service periods
  • Barista experience is essential
