Chef, Better Food Central Kitchen -

37.5 hours per week (full time)

Better Food are looking for an enthusiastic and passionate chef to join our Central Kitchen based in St Werburghs, where we prepare and cook foods of our 4 well loved cafes.

We are looking for a chef to help produce salads, soups/stews, savories and on occasion cakes. The kitchen team are dedicated to Organic, Local, Ethical food production working to ensure our customers are delighted and our suppliers get a fair price.

We are looking for someone who brings skills in baking as well as a love for general food prep.

If you thrive in a fast paced production kitchen and able to create delicious products for our counters then this could be the role for you.

This is an uncommonly sociable hours operation for bakers and chefs with no late evening work - there is a fixed Sunday - Thursday 6am-2pm work pattern, offering stable and reguar working hours.

We’re interested in you because:
