Job Summary

DAYTIME WORK ONLY-MONDAY-FRIDAY

We are looking for an experienced Kitchen Staff Member

Are you fed up with night work, split shifts if so join our team.

We are a very busy Cafe serving breakfasts, and light lunches.

You must be experienced in cutting salad, making sandwiches/Ciabattas/salads etc.

We work in a small kitchen so you must be tidy and efficient in your work, you will work alongside Chef and liaise together in the preparation and sending of orders.

You must be flexible in your approach and assist when necessary in other cafe duties including cleaning, operating the dishwasher, you must have a can do attitude and work well with your peers

MON-FRI ONLY, 9-5.30pm. 9-4.30PM DURING WINTER MONTHS

Due to the location of this position, you must have your own transport

Requirements

  • Proven experience in a similar role within a restaurant or hospitality setting
  • Strong culinary skills with an emphasis on food preparation and cooking techniques
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices
  • Excellent leadership skills with a passion for delivering exceptional service
  • Ability to work under pressure while maintaining attention to detail
  • Strong communication skills, both verbal and written
