Job Overview
We are looking for an experienced and driven Cafe and Retail Food Hall Manager, In the food hall selling a wide variety of in-house baked items, cheeses, meats, drinks and food sourced locally and across the uk. To lead an exciting new addition to the Dunston Hall Estate Food Hall retail business.

This is a fantastic opportunity for someone who loves great food, excellent customer service and crating a welcoming atmosphere . You'll play a key role in shaping and managing our new Cafe addition to the food Hall from the ground up.

Dunston Hall Food Hall & Deli is adding a Cafe to it's existing business premises under the same roof. You will oversee the day to day running of the Cafe and Food Hall operations, ensuring high standards across customer experience, food quality, team leadership and commercial performance.

Duties

  • Managing daily operations of the cafe and food hall.
  • Leading motivating and developing the team .
  • Delivering exceptional customer service.
  • Managing stock control, ordering and supplier relationships.
  • Maintaining high standards of food hygiene and presentation .
  • Driving sales and creating a positive customer experience.
  • Assisting with menu ideas, merchandising and seasonal promotions
  • Implement health and safety procedures to create a secure environment for staff and guests.

Requirements

  • Previous management experience in Cafe, Food Hall or hospitality
  • Strong leadership and organisational skills.
  • Passion for quality food and customer service .
  • Ability to work in a fast paced environment.
  • Commercial awareness ( P& L, Labour and Margins ) and a hands on approach.
  • Food Hygiene knowledge preferred.

Job Types: Full-time, Permanent

Pay: £33,500.00-£34,500.00 per year
