Volunteer at Peckish Café

At Best Lives, we are passionate about supporting individuals to live fulfilling, meaningful lives. Peckish Café is more than just a café – it's a welcoming community space where people can develop skills, build confidence, gain experience, and connect with others in a supportive environment.

We are looking for enthusiastic, friendly, and reliable volunteers to join our team and help make a real difference.

About the Role

As a Café Volunteer, you will support the day-to-day running of Peckish Café while helping to create a positive and inclusive experience for our customers and the individuals we support.

This is a fantastic opportunity to share your skills, gain valuable experience, meet new people, and contribute to your local community.

What You Could Help With

  • Serving customers and providing excellent customer service
  • Preparing and serving drinks and light refreshments
  • Operating the till and handling transactions
  • Assisting with food preparation and presentation
  • Keeping the café clean, tidy, and welcoming
  • Supporting individuals to develop hospitality and customer service skills
  • Stock replenishment and general café duties
  • Helping with special events and community activities
