We're Hiring – Experienced Barista

roots + seeds | Cirencester

Full-time & Part-time positions available
Pay: Dependent on age and experience (National Living Wage minimum)

We're looking for an experienced barista to join our team at Roots + Seeds in Cirencester.

We're a busy independent café serving great coffee, fresh food and brunch seven days a week. We need someone who knows their way around a coffee machine, enjoys working in a fast-paced environment and is happy getting stuck in with the rest of the team.

What we're looking for

  • Previous barista experience in a busy café.
  • Imediate start
  • Confident dialling in grinders, making espresso and texturing milk.
  • Able to make consistently good coffee, even when it's busy.
  • Friendly, reliable and comfortable chatting with customers.
  • Someone who works well as part of a team and helps out where needed.
  • Good organisation and a clean, tidy workstation.
  • Available to work a mix of weekdays and weekends.

What you'll be doing

  • Making and serving great coffee.
  • Keeping the coffee station clean, stocked and running smoothly.
  • Looking after customers and providing friendly service.
  • Helping the wider front-of-house team during busy periods.
  • Taking on general front-of-house duties during quieter periods, including serving customers, clearing and resetting tables, and helping keep the café tidy.
  • Maintaining coffee equipment and keeping standards high.
