Juice Bar General Manager
Location: Tooting Market, South London

We are looking for an experienced, motivated and hands-on General Manager to lead our juice bar team and oversee the day-to-day running of the business.

You will be responsible for making sure the store operates smoothly, our customers receive an excellent experience, and the team consistently delivers high standards of service, cleanliness and product quality.

This is a hands-on management role for someone who enjoys working in a fast-paced environment, leading a team and taking ownership of the overall performance of the store.

Key Responsibilities

Take full responsibility for the day-to-day operation of the juice bar

Lead, motivate and manage the team to maintain high standards

Create staff rotas and manage staffing levels effectively

Recruit, train and onboard new team members

Ensure excellent customer service and handle customer feedback professionally

Maintain consistent quality and presentation of all products

Monitor stock levels, place orders and minimise waste

Manage cash handling and daily financial procedures

Monitor sales, costs and overall store performance

Ensure food safety, hygiene, health & safety and company procedures are followed

Maintain high standards of cleanliness and presentation throughout the store

Complete opening and closing procedures

Identify opportunities to increase sales and improve customer experience

Manage team performance, attendance and conduct where required

Work closely with the owners/management team to achieve business targets

Lead by example and be willing to work alongside the team during busy periods

Prepare fresh cold pressed juices, smoothies, smoothie bowls, and other menu items.

Make coffees, teas, and other hot drinks (full training can be provided).

Welcome customers, take orders, and provide friendly, efficient service.

Maintain high standards of cleanliness, food hygiene, and presentation.

Restock ingredients and keep the work area organised throughout the day.

Process customer payments accurately using the till.

Support with preparing light food items and ensuring products are fresh and well presented.

Work as part of a small team to keep service running smoothly during busy periods

What We're Looking For

The ideal candidate will have:

Previous experience in a General Manager, Store Manager, Assistant Manager or similar leadership role

Experience managing and motivating a team

Excellent customer service and communication skills

Strong organisational and time-management skills

Commercial awareness and an understanding of sales and costs

The ability to remain calm and organised in a busy environment

A proactive attitude and willingness to take ownership

High standards of cleanliness, presentation and professionalism

Flexibility to work evenings, weekends and busy periods when required

Experience within hospitality, food & beverage, cafés, restaurants, juice bars or retail is highly desirable.
