Full job description

Swiss Bread is the UK’s only Swiss bakery, café and deli. Everything is made fresh on-site. We’re an independent business, award-winning, and genuinely proud of what we serve.

We’re looking for a Preparation Chef to join our kitchen team. This is a hands-on role for someone who genuinely loves cooking, takes pride in quality, and enjoys the pace of a busy kitchen.

Hours of work - Tuesday to Saturday 7am-4pm (40h per week) + 5 weeks fully paid holidays + staff end of year bonus + free food whilst on shift

No late nights / always off on Sundays and Mondays

What you’ll be doing

  • Preparing a range of baked goods including tarts, cakes and other sweet and savoury treats
  • Supporting the busy lunch service
  • Supporting the delivery of our fresh lunch menu
  • Maintaining high standards of quality, consistency and presentation
  • Assisting with prep, service and kitchen organisation
  • Following food safety and hygiene standards at all times
