Job Summary
We are seeking a passionate and dedicated Barista Maestro to join our vibrant team. The ideal candidate will have a flair for creating exceptional coffee experiences while providing outstanding customer service. As a Barista, you will play a vital role in our café, ensuring that every beverage is crafted to perfection and that our guests feel welcomed and valued. A background in food production or hospitality is advantageous, as you will be working in a fast-paced environment where teamwork and attention to detail are essential.

Responsibilities

  • Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks.
  • Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the café area, ensuring compliance with food safety standards.
  • Assist customers with their orders, providing recommendations based on their preferences.
  • Operate coffee machines and other equipment safely and efficiently.
  • Collaborate with team members to ensure smooth service during busy periods.
  • Handle cash transactions accurately and efficiently.
  • Participate in training sessions to enhance your knowledge of coffee preparation techniques and menu offerings.
  • Contribute to a positive team environment through effective communication and teamwork.

Requirements

  • Previous experience in food production or hospitality is preferred but not essential.
  • Knowledge of food safety practices is highly desirable.
  • Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to engage customers effectively.
  • Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
  • Team management or leadership experience is an advantage.
  • A passion for coffee and culinary arts is essential.
  • Flexibility to work various shifts, including weekends and holidays.
