L’ANGOLO DELICATESSEN in Kensal Rise is looking for an experienced full-time Deli assistant to join our popular family-run neighbourhood Italian shop and deli. We sell a large range of continental food and wine including specialist pasta, meats, cheeses and antipasti - all imported from Italy - to our customers. We have a busy indoor/outdoor seating area serving fresh food, sandwiches, pastries and coffee too.

What we're looking for:

  • At least 12 months previous experience working in a Deli/ Cafe/Restaurant with knowledge of Italian meats and cheeses, preparing sandwiches, making coffee and serving customers.
  • Competent barista skills.
  • A friendly and cheerful person who is able to build relationships with customers.
  • Someone proactive who pays attention to detail, keeping shelves stocked and surfaces clean.
  • A reliable and punctual person.
  • Fluent Italian and English is essential.
