Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced Back of House colleague to join our well established, fast paced village café renowned for its unique atmosphere, warm vibe and great place to work.

The successful candidate will be responsible for preparing, cooking and presenting high-quality dishes, working as the breakfast/griddle chef in the Head Chef’s absence.

You will be reliable, with good timekeeping and must have your own transport due to the rural location.

This role offers an exciting opportunity for individuals passionate about food and hospitality to showcase their skills in a professional environment.

You will either hold a Food Hygiene Certificate Level 2, or be prepared to study for this as part of the role requirements.

You will have at least 1 years proven experience in food preparation, cooking, and kitchen operations within a hospitality or restaurant setting

A strong knowledge of food safety standards and regulations is expected.

Excellent organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple tasks simultaneously and good communication skills are required.

This role is ideal for passionate culinary professionals eager to advance their career in a vibrant environment that values quality, teamwork, and innovation.

The successful candidate should have a passion for catering, demonstrate initiative and display a positive and flexible aptitude to team working.

The kitchen can be a busy and challenging environment and so you will need to work efficiently under pressure.

You must have current valid right to work in the UK.

It is a part time role and will require weekend working.

Pay: £11.00-£12.75 per hour
