Full job description

No split shifts. No late-night restaurant finishes. A great opportunity for a chef looking for a more balanced working environment.

We’re looking for a reliable, enthusiastic and experienced Chef to join our busy family-friendly café and softplay centre in Dorking.

You’ll be responsible for preparing fresh, tasty food for our customers while keeping the kitchen running smoothly, efficiently and safely.

We’re looking for someone who:

  • Has previous professional kitchen/chef experience
  • Has a good understanding of food safety, hygiene and kitchen compliance
  • Is confident with food preparation, cooking and maintaining high standards
  • Can manage stock, minimise waste and keep the kitchen clean and organised
  • Works well independently and as part of a team
  • Is reliable, organised and takes pride in their work
  • Holds (or is willing to obtain) the appropriate Food Hygiene certification
