England's Lane is seeking a Kitchen Assistant

Are you a strong team player with experience of working in fast paced restaurant kitchen environments ? We want to hear from you !

We are well established café in Belsize Park (NW3) made up of a talented and hardworking team. Our mission is to make our customer community feel, special, connected, and delighted by our coffee and food standards every time.

As a team we work hard to deliver this and have a lot of fun along the way. We are now looking for a senior chef de parties to join our team.

What you will do

  • preparing, cooking and presenting high quality dishes
  • assisting the Head Chef in creating menu items, recipes and developing dishes
  • assisting with the management of health and safety
  • assisting with management of food hygiene practices
  • monitoring portion and waste control
  • overseeing the maintenance of kitchen and food safety standards

About you

  • You are a people person and love connecting with people and bring a smile to them
  • Hardworking, team player, no job is too big or small attitude
  • Stays calm and collected during busy periods
  • minimum one year kitchen experience
