Overview

Join our vibrant café team as a Café All Rounder, where your energy and enthusiasm will create a welcoming atmosphere for every guest. In this dynamic role, you'll be the heartbeat of our café, engaging with customers, preparing delicious food and beverages, and ensuring smooth operations throughout your shift. Your versatility will shine as you handle multiple responsibilities, from serving and barista duties to food prep and maintaining food safety standards. Duties

  • Greet customers warmly and provide exceptional service to enhance their café experience
  • Prepare and serve a variety of beverages, including coffee, tea, and specialty drinks, with precision and flair
  • Assist with food preparation, ensuring all items meet quality standards and safety regulations
  • Serve food and beverages efficiently while maintaining a friendly attitude
  • Uphold food safety standards by following proper hygiene practices and cleaning protocols
  • Manage cash register operations accurately, including handling transactions and giving correct change
  • Support the team with general café duties such as restocking supplies, cleaning tables, and maintaining a tidy workspace

Qualifications

  • Previous barista experience is highly desirable; passion for coffee is a plus!
  • Knowledge of food safety regulations and best practices in hygiene
  • Experience in serving customers in a fast-paced environment
  • Basic math skills for handling cash transactions confidently
  • Strong time management skills to prioritize tasks effectively during busy periods
  • Ability to work well within a team and adapt to changing priorities
  • A positive attitude with excellent communication skills to connect with customers and colleagues alike
