Full-Time Barista & Cycle Centre Team Member

We're looking for a friendly, enthusiastic and hardworking Barista & Cycle Centre Team Member to join our growing team.

This is a permanent, full-time position with a minimum of 32 hours per week, with additional hours available for the right candidate.

This is a varied and rewarding role, ideal for someone who enjoys working with people, thrives in a busy environment, and is keen to learn new skills as our business continues to grow.

What You'll Be Doing

You'll be involved in all aspects of our busy café and cycle centre, including:

Café Duties

  • Welcoming customers and providing excellent customer service.
  • Taking orders and preparing and serving hot and cold drinks, food and snacks.
  • Maintaining high standards of cleanliness and food hygiene.
  • Assisting with stock control and ordering café supplies.

Cycle Centre & Retail Duties

  • Assisting customers with cycle hire bookings.
  • Answering enquiries in person, by telephone and via email.
  • Processing online shop orders.
  • Helping maintain accurate stock control for both our online shop and retail store.
  • Supporting the day-to-day running of the cycle centre.

What We're Looking For

The successful applicant will be:

  • Hardworking, reliable and self-motivated.
  • Friendly with excellent customer service skills.
  • Confident using computers and learning new systems.
  • Comfortable dealing with bike hire bookings both in person and online.
  • Able to work as part of a team and use their own initiative.
  • Flexible and willing to work weekends as part of a rota.

Previous hospitality experience is essential.

Working Hours & Pay

  • Minimum 32 hours per week (additional hours available).
  • Typical hours are 8:30am – 5:00pm.
  • Weekend working and flexible shift patterns are required.
  • Paid overtime is available during busy periods.
  • Salary is dependent on age and experience.
