Pay Rate: starting from £13.53

Gourmet Coffee Bar operate 35 outlets on stations across the rail network and we're coming to Harrogate soon! We're looking to build a team to operate the espresso bar on a 7 day basis, trading from 6am to 7pm. There will be a mixture of shifts, both morning and afternoon, but there will be some lone working so you have to be able to manage your own time well, whilst keeping standards high!

Responsibilities:

• Cafe management duties including: rota building, stock control and cash management
• Producing spectacular espresso based drinks for our customers
• Keeping on top of the espresso recipe, dialing in the grinder to ensure the perfect pour.
• Driving sales of other items
• Front of house duties including sales and cleaning
• Maintaining a close eye on hygiene and health and safety standards.

Required skills and attributes

Of course, we will provide training, but we are looking for someone with some experience in management and with speciality coffee.

• Proactive and organized and an excellent communicator
• Multi task and manage your time well
• Able to work early mornings and some weekends.

You must be willing and able to get to Harrogate station for 5:30am so check this before applying.

Having your own transport would be preferable.

(We may be based on train stations but we always start before the trains!)

As our main customers are commuters, we have to be open and ready before they are!
