Barista / Customer Service Assistant

Full Time - 15+ hours a week.

Availability Monday to Sunday

This position is for Day shifts that could start 7:00am and finish 4:00pm.

Pay: £8.50 -£12.71 per hour

Job Overview:

We are seeking a skilled Barista to join our team in a vibrant sandwich shop setting. The ideal candidates will have a passion for delivering exceptional customer service and creating delicious hot and cold food as well as beverages.

Duties:

- Prepare and serve a variety of hot and cold food as well as beverages, including coffee, tea, and smoothies /shakes.

- Take customer orders accurately and efficiently.

- Upsell additional items such as pastries or snacks to enhance the customer experience.

- Maintain cleanliness and sanitisation standards in the cafe area.

- Assist in basic food preparation tasks

- Provide excellent customer service by engaging with customers in a friendly and professional manner.

Requirements:

Previous experience in a restaurant or hospitality environment is advantageous.

- Ability to work well in a fast-paced environment and handle multiple tasks simultaneously.

- Knowledge of food safety practices and regulations.

- Proficiency in coffee making techniques and beverage preparation methods.
