Baker / Production Chef All-Rounder

TRADE Coffee & Bakery

We are looking for an experienced Baker / Production Chef all-rounder to join our central production kitchen.

TRADE is an independent coffee, brunch and bakery business with several London sites. We make a wide range of food in-house, including bakery items, savoury prep, brunch components, deli items, cakes, pastries and seasonal specials.

This role would suit someone who enjoys variety and is happy working across both bakery and general production. You do not need to be a specialist pastry chef, but you should be confident, practical, organised and comfortable producing food to a consistent standard.

The role will involve:

  • Baking and preparing items for our cafés
  • Supporting savoury production and general prep
  • Following recipes and production lists accurately
  • Keeping quality, presentation and consistency high
  • Maintaining a clean, organised and safe kitchen
  • Working as part of a small production team
  • Helping with stock rotation, labelling and kitchen systems
  • Being flexible and supporting wherever needed

We are looking for someone who is:

  • Reliable, hardworking and positive
  • Confident with baking and kitchen production
  • Organised and able to work cleanly
  • Comfortable following systems and recipes
  • Interested in good food, proper prep and high standards
  • A team player with a calm, practical attitude
  • Willing to learn and get stuck in

Experience in a bakery, café, brunch kitchen, production kitchen, deli or similar food business would be ideal. We are more interested in finding the right person than ticking every box.

This is a good opportunity for someone who wants a stable, varied production role within an independent food business, with room to develop as the kitchen grows.

Pay: £15.00-£18.00 per hour
